How To Use

1. Choose a Container: Select a pot larger than the current one with a drainage hole at the bottom. Place a tray beneath to catch excess water.
2. Add Potting Mix: Fill the container one-third full with Espoma Organic African Violet Mix.
3. Remove and Re-pot the Plant: Gently remove the plant from its current pot, loosen the root ball, and center it in the new container. Add potting mix around the plant, leaving at least 1 inch between the soil and the rim of the pot.
4. Finishing Touches: Lightly pat down the soil and add more if needed to ensure the plant is at the same depth as in the original pot.
5. Watering: Water thoroughly but avoid getting water on the leaves to prevent spots. Allow the plant to drain completely.

Growing Tips

• Repotting: Re-pot African violets annually.
• Watering: Water from the bottom to prevent wetting the leaves. Ensure soil is moist but not soggy. Avoid leaving the pot in a saucer of water.
• Light: Place in indirect sunlight or under artificial lights.
• Feeding: Start using Espoma Organic Violet! two weeks after planting, following label directions.
