When To Use

Late Winter (January/February): Feed pre-bloom to boost flowering.

Late Spring (May/June): Apply food post-bloom to improve fruit set.

Fall (September/October): Apply product to fulfill overall nutrient needs.

How Much To Use

For potted plants, use one teaspoon per 4" pot diameter, doubling for pots over 12". Due to frequent watering, you may need to reapply more often. Feed every 60 days from late winter to fall.

How To Use

New Plantings

1. Choose a location with full sun and ample space for the tree's full size.
2. Dig a hole twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball.
3. Mix 1/3 of the removed soil with compost, peat moss, or a planting mix.
4. Stir 1 cup of Espoma Citrus-tone into the amended soil.
5. Create a small mound of soil in the center of the hole. Position the tree so the roots spread out around the mound.
6. Back-fill with the amended soil, covering the roots with several inches of soil. Tamp gently.
7. Ensure the soil level around the trunk is even with or slightly below the nursery or container level.
8. Water thoroughly and monitor soil moisture.

Established Plants

1. Apply plant food evenly around the outer edge of the tree’s branches, avoiding a 6” zone near the trunk.
2. Mix into the soil.
3. Water thoroughly after application.
