Plant this reblooming lilac in fertile, moist, well-drained soil with a neutral to alkaline pH. Select a planting site with full sun. Water new plants consistently during the first growing season. Established plants need water during an extended dry spell. Fertilize in early spring and again after the first flush of flowers fade.
Prune the Bloomerang Ballet™ Reblooming Lilac after the spring flowers are done blooming. A well-timed trim will encourage new growth and more abundant blooming throughout the summer and fall. This lilac blooms on old and new wood, and pruning in fall or early spring will reduce the number of springtime flowers.
