The FantAsiatic® lily series is perfect for gardeners who have small spaces or want a plant sturdy enough to grow in pots on a balcony or terrace. Along with the smaller size, FantAsiatic® white lily provides masses of large and fragrant flowers to attract both beneficial pollinators and gardeners alike. There is no need for special maintenance during the winter months. FantAsiatic® lilies are hardy in USDA growing zones 3-8 and will provide many seasons of beauty in your garden.

FantAsiatic® lilies are incredibly easy to grow with high resistance to pests, diseases, and deer browsing. These lilies make for a great edging plant at the front of a mixed perennial border as well as a focal point for a seasonal planter. The large white trumpet flowers last for weeks on the plant and look stunning in white garden designs as well as cut flower arrangements.

Fantasiatic White Lily Care

FantAsiatic® lilies grow best in full sun and neutral pH soil. They prefer well-draining, rich, loamy soil and should be fertilized on a regular schedule from March to July. Apply a granular bulb food in April as the new growth emerges and again when the flower buds form. Container-grown lilies will respond well to monthly feedings with a diluted liquid fertilizer formulated for blooming plants.

FantAsiatic® lilies do not require special seasonal pruning or deadheading to continue flowering for a long period. Like all other perennial bulbs, the foliage should be left to die back naturally at the end of the season. The energy from the foliage encourages the growth of the bulb and ensures blooming during next season. Protect container-grown lilies in the winter by moving them to a protected location out of the path of direct winds and winter storms. An unheated greenhouse or garage is good for short-term protection.

Fantasiatic White Lily Spacing

FantAsiatic® white lilies are small in stature and do not spread quickly in the garden. Expect an overall height of 18 inches and a spread of 12-14 inches. Space multiple plants 12 inches apart to provide good air circulation. Select containers at least 10 inches in diameter to grow a single lily plant. Potted FantAsiatic® white lilies look fantastic with long-blooming calibrachoa and sweet potato vine for textural interest.
