The Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea is a reblooming shrub, so you get to enjoy the striking flowers throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The Rhododendron 'Lazamoripi' has trumpet-shaped hot pink flowers. The flowers are showy on their own but bloom in clusters, creating an even more beautiful display. Dark green glossy foliage has an ovate shape, giving the shrub a full and dense look.

Establish a lovely flowering hedge or foundation planting with the Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea. This shrub is evergreen, so the dark green foliage provides color even during the winter. Add a burst of color to a landscape by creating a mass planting, or use this shrub as a focal point in a mixed bed. Grow this Azalea in a container and enjoy the flowers on a balcony or deck.

Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea Care

Grow the Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea in partial shade. An area that receives morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. This shrub prefers fertile soil that is moist, well drained, and acidic. Azaleas like moist conditions, so routinely water the plant, especially during a dry period. A thick layer of mulch will hold moisture in, protect the shallow roots from hot temperatures, and cut down on weeds. Fertilize this azalea using a product intended for acid-loving plants.

Prune to shape the shrub after the first flush of flowers fades. Remove dead or damaged branches at any time. Azalea bushes do not require special winter care, but mulch will insulate the roots. Wrap plants in landscape fabric when grown in wind-swept areas.

Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea Spacing

Floramore® Hot Pink Azalea shrubs grow 3 feet tall and wide. Space shrubs 3 feet apart, center on center, to create a continuous planting while allowing enough room for the plants to grow. One shrub can grow in a 16-inch wide container.
