Loropetalum is also called Chinese fringe flower because of the long, thin petals that spread out delicately to form each bloom. Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum lives up to both names, with a burst of spring blossoms that look live gloved jazz hands. The pure white blooms rise above dark green leaves and bloom off and on from spring through summer. The dwarf size of Jazz Hands makes it a perfect container thriller or short border plant.

Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum grows to nearly 3 feet tall and wide in zones 7 through 9. Since it's evergreen, you can enjoy the low mounded shape and dark green leaves all year, even when your shrub is not blooming. This Loropetalum is a versatile shrub because it looks so striking in nearly any landscape setting. Plant a row of Loropetalum for an elegant white floral border. Even a single Loropetalum looks gorgeous planted in the center of a container or before a red barberry or similarly dark shrub.

Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum Care

Plant your Loropetalum in sun or part sun for best growth, health and flowering. Loropetalum shrubs prefer moist but well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Lightly prune Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum after flowering to keep its mounded shape, but don't worry about regular pruning or deadheading flowers. It will continue to bloom off and on with no effort except regular watering during dry periods and a fertilizer boost in spring.

Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum Spacing

To create a classy white border around a bed or near a sidewalk or patio, space Jazz Hands Dwarf White Loropetalum shrubs about 3 to 4 feet apart. If you plant it as a focal point in a bed or container, place only low-growing plants in front of the Loropetalum so you can enjoy the full burst of white.

Disappointed in Shipping Condition, Size for Cost

Posted by Rebecca H. on Oct 05, 2022

I agree with the reviewer commenting on the upside down pots, the very small plants considering the high cost, and (for me) - the lack of support from this company. The plants were so small and almost all were out of the pots with soil packed on top. My contact with PlantAddicts to express my concerns and expecting some sort of reassurance proved to be a waste of time. They said to plant them - they will be fine in time. They offered no compensation and no apologies. So - I did plant them and they are not impressing me after being in the ground since early spring. I was careful to plant well and water throughout the summer. The smallest, most damaged plant still looks like it will die. I will be surprised if it survives our winter here in NC. The others are “just ok”. I had previously spent over $500 with this company so I did not hesitate to make this purchase. The first order had large, beautiful plantings. This one, however, is greatly disappointing. I believe the “pot size method” to describe plants is misleading. They should simply say they are sending 4-5” plants in large pots. Consumers can relate to plant height.

The loropetalum arrived green and healthy looking. It was quite small and certainly overpriced for its size. I will never order from this site again.

    Waste of...

Posted by Karlene Marvel on Apr 09, 2022

Received upside down and out of pots. Per your instructions, I planted them. One is hanging on, the other has lost most of leaves and not sure if it will survive. Very disappointed with the shipping method. Certainly not with 30$ each! Will not buy here again.

    perfect thriller

The flowers are gorgeous and the white color looks beautiful. I've been living in my new apartment for a year now, and I've been able to keep it alive on my balcony.
