The variegated white, deep green and purple foliage of Jazz Hands Night Moves Loropetalum will stop you in your tracks year-round and it flowers too. Everyone who views your garden will be mesmerized by its unusual foliage. This variety was introduced in 2019 so it will be new to your friends and neighbors. Be prepared to answer the question “What type of plant is that?”. This one plant can be used to add color, texture and flowers to your garden.

Loropetalum chinense 'Suzuki' can be grown in USDA hardiness zones 7 to 9 in part to full sunlight conditions. Sometimes this plant is referred to as Chinese fringe-flower. This series of plants was named "Jazz Hands" because each white flower resembles the classic dance and choral move. The fringy white flowers appear in the spring on old wood. The leaves turn dark purple in the fall making the white flowers really stand out in comparison.

This deer resistant and heat tolerant plant grows in a compact mounded shape 2 to 4 feet tall and wide. It needs pruning only if you desire a specific shape. Prune after flowering if desired.
