Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose, or Rosa Flower Supreme ‘Carpet-Pink’, is a deciduous groundcover rose with huge, semi-double blooms of stunning fuchsia flowers with punchy yellow centers. This vibrant carpet rose has a long blooming season, flowering profusely from late spring until the first frost. The foliage of the Pink Supreme is deep green and shiny, glimmering in the summer sun and never fading, even in strong, persistent sun. This incredible Carpet Rose grows from 1 to 2 feet high with an impressive spread of 5 to 7 feet, making it an excellent groundcover.

Part of the Flower Carpet® Series, and winner of the world’s top honor for disease resistant roses, the Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose has a vigorous, sprawling, low-growing habit. It is incredibly easy to grow and maintain, spreading quickly over time. It is heat and humidity resistant as well as resistant to black spot and mildew. The Pink Supreme is truly a low-maintenance wonder that will attract kaleidoscopes of butterflies.

Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose Care

You can plant your Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose during the spring, summer or fall. It prefers full sun, and should be planted in areas where it can receive at least 8 hours of full sunshine per day. If planted in areas with partial sun, your Pink Supreme may produce fewer blooms. Pink Supreme should be watered regularly, whenever the top 3 to 4 inches of soil is dry. It is tolerant of cold and generally water wise, especially once it has reached maturity. The ideal soils for your Pink Supreme are rich, fertile, and well-drained.

Your Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose will not require special pruning and does not need to be dead-headed once the flowers are spent. Simply cut back your Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose by two-thirds in the late winter or early spring. To create a more ground-hugging form, cut vertical stems back to the plant’s main stem. You can even trim or shape your Pink Supreme mid-season if you would like. It is truly a gorgeous, low-maintenance option for any budding gardener.

Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose Spacing

Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Rose is a perfect choice for covering slopes or creating low barriers in a variety of landscapes. They are ideal for pots and containers and have a rustic, cottage feel. At planting, space your Pink Supreme Flower Carpet Roses 3 to 4 feet apart.

    Too Early To...

Posted by Winona Higashi on May 06, 2023

I just received my plant and since it is not in bloom and still a bably, I can only say I hope it grows into a beauty as presented on the website. It would be nice if they showed a photo of what the plant will look like when you receive and not just what it looks like when in full bloom after years of growth.
