Proven Accents® Yellow Ripple Ivy Care
Yellow Ripple Ivy is an easy care, low maintenance evergreen vine. It performs well in full to partial sun in USDA hardiness zones 5 – 9. It has an average water use and tolerates most any soil type. Yellow Ripple benefits from a slow release fertilizer in landscape beds and regular water-soluble liquid fertilizer applications in container planting. Tired looking plants can be rejuvenated with an overall trim with pruning shears back or to keep the shape you prefer.
Yellow Ripple Ivy can be grown as a perennial in mild winter climates that do not get hard freezes. They make excellent indoor plants and will perform well in containers on high light patios and porches. Foliage is gorgeous all year round. Yellow-Ripple Ivy will attach itself by little rootlets to walls, fences or a trellis, so it makes a wonderful ornamental cover for a variety of purposes. Use in pots, hanging baskets, or as a ground cover.
Proven Accents® Yellow Ripple Ivy Spacing
Yellow Ripple Ivy is a low growing groundcover that only reaches 3 - 6 Inches in height but trails up to 12 inches. Spacing should be 8 - 12 inches in landscape beds. In containers, space 10 inches apart.
