Care for the Pugster Butterfly Bush is simple. It is imperative that the soil be well drained. Along with well drained soil, this bush has a low water need and is adaptable to most soil types. For optimal results be sure to plant your butterfly bush in full sun and ensure it receives six plus hours of direct sunlight per day. If trimming is desired, it should be to shape only. The Pugster Pink is susceptible to spider mites and should be checked regularly. Planting and pruning should take place in the fall.
