This gorgeous Weigela has green foliage and contrasts beautifully with its hot pink blooms. Bloom season is exceptionally generous and begins in May and continues to rebloom until the first frost makes its arrival. The full bloom season is from mid spring to late fall. The garden height for the Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela is forty-eight to sixty inches with a spread of forty-eight to sixty inches. This Weigela has a mounded habit and it makes a great thriller plant in containers. Plant this Weigela in any landscape as a border plant in mixed borders or shrub borders. It does well with mass planting and makes a stunning focal point.

Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela Care

To care for your Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela plant in well drained soil. Full sun with minimum of 6 hours per day is preferred. In warmer climates some shade is tolerated. This Weigela is adaptable to all soils with different PH levels. If pruning is desired, be sure to prune in the spring directly after blooming. Granular fertilizer should be applied in the early spring.

Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela Spacing

Space your Sonic Bloom Pink Weigela correctly by ensuring spacing is 60”-72” inches, center on center. When planting in proximity, proper spacing is imperative to ensure the health of your plant.
