Large rose-pink flowers adorn this fragrant, early spring blooming ground cover. Cushions of green foliage fill in areas of the garden the rest of the season. Spring Bling is perfect for coastal areas as it is salt tolerant. Plant this near walkways or sitting areas to take advantage of its fragrant flowers.

Native to North America, this plant is a hardy perennial in zones 3-8. Rose Quartz Phlox can be used as a short, spreading filler in spring containers. In the landscape, use this ground cover at the front of sunny border beds, rock gardens, or as a mass planting for a burst of spring color. It’s no surprise to find bees and butterflies on this phlox when it is blooming.

Spring Bling Rose Quartz Phlox Care

Plant Rose Quartz in part to full sun (6+ hours daily) for best performance. This phlox likes gritty, slightly alkaline soils. Good drainage is essential when planted in beds or containers. Let the plant dry out slightly between waterings.

Creeping phlox benefits from a cutting back after the plant is done blooming. This cut acts as both a deadheading and a rejuvenation of the plant. Prune up to one third of the plant material back.

Spring Bling Rose Quartz Phlox Spacing

Spring Bling Rose Quartz Phlox reaches a height of 4-8 inches tall and has a spread of 24-28 inches. For best results space plants 24-28 inches apart when planting in beds.
