This compact Hibiscus is perfect for your large containers! These large white flowers with red centers bloom in an abundance on the Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus. The foliage is as interesting as the blooms. The foliage is a rich black purple. It attracts pollinators and resist deer.
This deep purple black foliage is paired perfectly with its white blooms. The blooms have red centers that make them pop. Bloom season begins in the summer and lasts until fall. The height of this North American Native reaches thirty-six inches. The spread is fifty-four to sixty inches. The Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus has a compact habit that is perfect for your large patio containers. Plant as a border plant or for a stunning focal point.
Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus Care
Plant in full sun for best results. Six hours of sun per day is optimal. The water needs are average. If your hibiscus is kept watered, it will give you larger flowers. Pruning should take place prior to new growth. Deadheading is not necessary to encourage rebloom. Mulching in the winter is beneficial for your hibiscus. The Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus should be planted in acidic soil. Soil should be rich, well-drained, and moist. Apply a slow release fertilizer in the spring.
Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus Spacing
This Hibiscus does well when planted in containers. The larger the container, the better. Spacing in your landscape when planting as a border plant or near other plants, be sure to space your Summerific Perfect Storm Hibiscus 54”-60” inches, center on center.
