What a radiant plant! The Sunny Knock Out Rose produces oodles of fragrant blooms during its bloom season. The happy yellow buds open up to large cream white blooms. It is very resistant to disease and has a compact growth habit, making it a wonderful low hedge.
Foliage for the Sunny Knock Out® Rose is a glossy, deep green. This shrub is loaded with fragrant, creamy white blooms from spring through fall. The blooms begin as small yellow buds before opening to large blooms. This plant reaches four to five feet tall and wide. The Sunny Knock Out® Rose is a sought-after low hedge. Its other uses include; Accent or focal plant, border plant, planted for cut flowers, and does well when mass planted.
Sunny Knock Out Rose Care
The Sunny Knock Out® Rose loves the sun. It should be planted in full sun, receiving a minimum six hours of sun per a day. The soil should be loamy, well drained and remain moist. Soil Ph level should be neutral to slightly acidic. Water needs are average and should be watered regularly at the base. Mulching is beneficial to help keep roots cool. Prune in late winter or early spring. Do not apply fertilizer in the first year. Once established, apply fertilizer in the spring.
Sunny Knock Out Rose Spacing
The Sunny Knock Out® Rose grows to be four to five feet tall. Spacing for uses such as hedges, border planting, or when trying to achieve a seamless appearance, space four feet, center on center. When planting for other uses, space five feet, center on center. Proper spacing ensures your plant has room to flourish.
