Mature Height

Mature Spread
The reddish-orange flowers of Impatiens Sunpatiens Orange contrast nicely with its dark green pointed leaves. Unlike many other inpatients, this variety prefers to be grown in sunny to partially sunny locations. It will reach a height of 16 to 30 inches with a 14-to-20-inch spread in a mounded shape. Bright blossoms will cover this plant from spring to frost.
Use this plant to liven up your annual flower gardens or to fill in gaps between perennials. It also makes a great filler role plant in window boxes and container gardens. Place the pot in a sunny or partially sunny deck, patio, or porch. Use it alone or combined with other plants that thrive in similar growing conditions.
SunPatiens® Compact Orange Impatiens Care
This annual Impatiens x hybrida is easy to care for and has average watering needs. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer in mid-summer for best performance. Deadheading is not required for this plant to continue flowering.
Impatiens Sunpatiens Orange is typically used in annual plantings. It may not survive as a houseplant because of its high light requirements. Use a grow light if you try to overwinter this plant. It is hardy in USDA planting zones 10 and 11.
SunPatiens® Compact Orange Impatiens Spacing
In a garden setting, space plants 12 to 24 inches apart. Plants may be spaced 10 to 12 inches apart in a container to create a fuller look.
