Liven up containers on the patio, porch or entryway with SuperBells Strawberry Punch Calibrachoa. Few other plants bloom as much for as long with as little work. And the pinkish coral flowers with a deep red center stand out in any container arrangement. The calibrachoa will mound in the center, but trail over the sides of a pot or hanging basket, filling it with a strawberry punch.

Superbells fill with petunia-like flowers, blooming all season long and only getting fuller by late summer. The plants are heat tolerant and the blooms last, plus new ones keep coming. The entire plant reaches no more than 12 inches high, but branches trail to up to 30 inches long. And the numerous deep pink flowers attract hummingbirds, who can enjoy the blooms all season.

Superbells® Strawberry Punch Calibrachoa Care

SuperBells Strawberry Punch Calibrachoa grows best in full sun, but can take a few hours of shade a day. The plant needs average water, and only suffers if it sits in constantly damp soil. It’s a perfect container plant, since good drainage keeps the calibrachoa happy. Water after planting and then only when the soil feels dry. You can plant it in a garden bed, too, as long as it is in a spot where the soil drains well, such as a raised bed.

For best flowering, fertilize your calibrachoa regularly with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. They need no other care such as deadheading. You can trim the plant slightly at planting time to encourage full branching, but is not necessary. The pink flowers self-clean and appear continuously on this annual from spring planting to fall frost.

Superbells® Strawberry Punch Calibrachoa Spacing

Calibrachoa can be spaced only about 8 to 12 inches apart in a container, raised bed, or well-draining garden bed. This gives them room to grow, and fill the container or bed, running down the side as the plants mature.
