This is what bright and sunny smiles are made of! Superbells® Yellow Calibrachoa hybrid displays the perfect yellow charm that blooms all spring, summer, and fall. The long-blooming petite trumpet flowers are prolific and charming. Its green leaves and vigorous branching stems support a cascade of sunny yellow blooms. Reaching a height of 6 to 12 inches and spread of up to 24 inches, it expresses an excellent mounding and trailing balance perfect for containers.

Calibrachoa Superbells yellow is a beloved classic. This plant tolerates the heat, there is no deadheading, and it is a hummingbird favorite. Calibrachoa can be incorporated as a spiller in container culture. It can be planted in the landscape, but it typically is more manageable in a container. Create an outstanding yellow hanging basket display or pair this plant with an array of colors. It is sure to make any color combination stand out.

Superbells® Yellow Calibrachoa Care

This plant is easy to care for. Ensure that Calibrachoa gets at least 6 hours or more of sun daily. Soil and water needs are average and trim anytime to invigorate growth.  Soil should be well-draining and allow the top of the soil to dry out between watering. Apply fertilizer regularly and watch for yellowing leaves. This may be an indication that soil pH has changed. Chelated iron may be needed to correct this problem.

This plant cannot tolerate frost and it will only survive more subtropical winters like in zones 9 to 11.  For most of the more temperate zones, annual plants like Calibrachoas will die in the winter and will need to be replaced every Spring.

Superbells® Yellow Calibrachoa Spacing

When planting Calibrachoas in the landscape ensure an 8 to 12-inch gap between plants. Plant one or two calibrachoa in a 12-inch hanging basket along with a regular fertilizing regimen. This is sure to create smiles all season long!
