Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia also cascades abundantly making it the perfect trailing spiller for containers, baskets, window boxes, and garden borders. Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia has a long blooming window lasting from spring through summer up until frost.

Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia is heat and drought tolerant carrying it through the peak of summer without a ton of fuss. Its profuse flowers will attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.

Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia Care

Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia prefers part sun to sun in average, well-drained soil. Regular deadheading is not necessary but Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia can benefit from a shapely trim of up to 1/3 of the plant later in the season to promote new growth. Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia will benefit from a controlled release fertilizer when planted in the landscape or a container. Supertunia® Petunias can be heavy feeders so apply a second dose of controlled release fertilizer mid-season, feeding containers more regularly than landscape plantings. Regular feedings of water-soluble fertilizer can be used in place of controlled release fertilizer.

Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia is most commonly planted as a spring into summer annual blooming all the way to a hard frost. It is hardy to zone 10a-11b.

Supertunia® Trailing Rose Veined Petunia Spacing

Plants are 4-8inches tall and will spread 24-36 inches and trailing up to 36 inches. Plant 12-18 inches apart in the landscape. Plant 5 plugs per 12” pot for abundant, cascading hanging baskets.
