Have you ever seen petunias so perfectly pink? Or grow so enthusiastically? Once you enjoy Supertunia Vista® Bubblegum® in person, we’re sure you’ll agree that no other petunias can possibly compare in color, vigor, and dependability. Supertunia Vista® petunias set trails up to 3 feet long and can grow up to two feet in height. This robust growth makes it the perfect choice for gardens in need of some colorful, quick groundcover or border. It also makes them ideal for hanging baskets and large containers.
The growth habit is both mounding and trailing, making them a superb multi-tasker in containers and baskets. They can be used as both spillers and fillers in combination plantings. Hummingbirds and butterflies both love Petunias, and this pretty pink variety will hold its own in pollinator gardens. Supertunia Vista® Bubblegum® is an award-winning variety that is heat and drought tolerant, as well. Supertunia Vista® bloom earlier and longer than Supertunia®, and grow more vigorously.
Supertunia Vista® Bubblegum® Petunia Care
Make sure you feed your Supertunia Vista® Bubblegum® with at least one application of continuous-release fertilizer to support its vigor. Additional feedings every two months will result in the best performance. Keep the soil evenly watered throughout the growing season.
If you notice your Supertunia Vista® looking a bit tired towards the end of the season, give it a trim. This will result in more branching for a fuller look. No deadheading is needed to encourage continued bloom.
Supertunia Vista® Bubblegum® Petunia Spacing
Supertunia Vista® Petunia varieties are known for their incredible growth in a short amount of time. Keep that in mind as you prepare to plant. They will need 18-32 inches of space to allow for their quick growth and long trails. Use them in your large containers and hanging baskets for best results.
