Once established, Trachelospermum asiaticum ‘Variegatum’ forms a dense, vigorous white and dark green groundcover for large areas. Makes an excellent substitute for lawns where grass doesn’t thrive, such as shady areas.
Variegated Asiatic Jasmine Care
Amend soil with compost at time of planting. Water regularly to establish and thereafter when the soil becomes dry. Mulch when initially planted to control weeds. Mow in the spring with the mower set to approximately 4 inches or maintain with a string trimmer if a level look is desired. Fertilize in spring and summer with a slow release fertilizer.
