Ranunculi are sought after because of their lovely blooms featuring dense layers of petals that resemble a cross between a peony and a rose. The White Peony Ranunculus Bulb Kit provides everything you need to enjoy these beauties at home. The Ranunculus Peony kit includes a bulb (technically called a corm), container, and soil pellets. The pure white flowers bloom in mid- to late spring. The narrow, lobed foliage has scalloped edges that create a lot of texture. Each flower appears to emerge from a dense bed of greenery.

The White Peony Ranunculus is an excellent container plant. It holds up to heat much better than traditional peonies and overwinters in zones 8-10. Place the container on a patio table to enjoy the blooms up close. Add the bulb to a window box or a mixed container to enjoy the white flowers with other springtime bloomers. Feature this plant in an outdoor area and bring it inside to grow as a houseplant when temperatures drop.

White Peony Ranunculus Bulb Kit Care

Grow the White Peony Ranunculus in full to partial sun and in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Water when the top couple of inches of potting mix are dry, allowing excess water to drain. Potted plants need water as often as daily, depending on rainfall.

Keep the foliage in place after the flowers fade. Remove all greenery at the end of the growing season. The White Peony Ranunculus grows as a perennial in zones 8 through 10 but the corms can be stored indoors during the winter in colder zones. To break dormancy, soak the corms for a few hours and plant them out after the last expected frost date.

White Ranunculus Peony Bulb Kit Spacing

The White Peony Ranunculus stands 8 to 18 inches tall and 6 to 12 inches wide at maturity. Grow one bulb in a 6-inch wide container.
