Boulevard® Corinne™ Clematis (Clematis ‘Evipo063’) stands out with large, ruffled white petals and a delicate stripe of pale pink-violet running down the center of each sepal. Growing between 4 and 6 feet tall, this compact vine delivers an extended flowering season from early summer through late summer—and even beyond in milder climates. It’s perfectly sized for smaller trellises, obelisks, or patio containers, and the blossoms make gorgeous cut flowers, lasting up to 10 days in a vase. Corinne’s showy blooms hold their color in both sun and partial shade, giving you consistent beauty in various locations.
Besides its striking appearance, Boulevard® Corinne™ Clematis offers reliable deer resistance and adapts to many garden styles. Originally bred for robust performance in smaller spaces, it has proven itself an excellent choice for containers on porches, balconies, and decks. It also pairs beautifully with shrub roses, other clematis, or as a graceful accent along fences. Provide a stable support structure for it to twine upon, bringing vertical interest to both cottage and modern landscapes.
Boulevard® Corinne™ Clematis Care
Plant in fertile, well-draining soil with the crown about 2–4 inches below the soil line to protect dormant buds. Water regularly, especially during the first growing season, and maintain moderate, even moisture without allowing roots to become waterlogged. A balanced, all-purpose fertilizer in spring helps support steady growth and prolific flowering. While Corinne enjoys at least six hours of sunlight, partial shade is also suitable, especially in hot summer climates, and mulch or companion plants can keep the roots cool.
A light prune in early spring or late winter (Pruning Group 2) helps shape the vine and remove any dead stems. Simply trim back about a foot of growth or down to healthy buds. During the blooming season, clip off spent flowers to promote continuous flowering. Container-grown plants require diligent watering, especially during hotter months, and occasional root protection in colder climates can help prevent winter damage.
Boulevard® Corinne™ Clematis Spacing
Allow roughly 3 to 4 feet of horizontal space between plants if you’re creating a row or shared trellis display. For container use, give each vine enough room to climb and spread—a 12-inch-wide container typically accommodates young vines. Over time, upgrading to a pot at least 16 inches in diameter ensures proper root development and supports vigorous top growth.
