The Decadence Deluxe Pink Truffles False Indigo is a beautiful, compact plant that is easy to grow. It is a baptisia hybrid that can withstand long periods without rain and requires minimal watering. It produces soft pink blooms on top of its blue foliage and pale-yellow keel, which attract butterflies and hummingbirds. It’s low maintenance, small size and height make it an immediate favorite. Adding to its unique attributes, this baptisia is rabbit and deer resistant. It loves full sun and will thrive for many years to come.
Blooming in late spring to early summer, the beautiful pink flowers sit on top of a blue-green foliage. At maturity, the Decadence Deluxe Pink Truffles False Indigo reaches a height of four to four and a half feet tall. It has a spread reach from three to four feet. It is native to North America. It resists deer, while attracting the much-needed pollinators such as butterflies and bees. This is a long-lived, drought and salt tolerant perennial. This baptisia is often used as cut flowers for use in bouquets as well as border planting and focal points for landscapes.
