Growing Guide
Fruit Trees	Application (Water in thoroughly after each application)
Apple	Apply ¾ lb. per 3 ½ inches of trunk diameter. Broadcast evenly on ground out under widest spread of branches (drip line) and water thoroughly. Apply in early spring.
Pear, Apricot	Apply ¼ lb. per 3 ½  inches of trunk diameter. Broadcast evenly on ground around drip line of tree. Apply in early spring.
Peach, Cherry	Apply ¾ lb. of fertilizer during the first year of growth. Broadcast evenly on ground around drip line of tree in spring and repeat once six weeks later. Gradually increase amount of fertilizer each year until 5 lbs. are used per tree annually.
Plum	Apply 1 lb. of fertilizer during the first year of growth. Broadcast evenly on ground around drip line. Feed each spring thereafter, increasing each year until 2 to 3 lbs. are used per tree annually.
Citrus Trees Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime and Tangerine	Apply 1 lb. of fertilizer per inch of trunk diameter per feeding in early spring, summer, and fall at 90 day intervals.
Nut Trees Pecan, Walnut, Chestnut, & Hickory Nut	Apply 2 ½ to 3 lbs. of fertilizer per inch of trunk diameter annually in the early spring before new growth appears and after harvest. Apply around drip line.
