Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant Care
Plant Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plants after the last threat of frost when soil has warmed up for the springtime. Plant in well-drained but moist soil in a full-sun location. Gold N’ Green Mix Beans have an upright bush habit and do not need any trellis or growing support but should be provided 8 - 12 inches of space between plants. Gold N’ Green Mix Bean Plants are disease resistant and easy to grow.
Growing Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant
Gold N’ Green Mix Bean Plants take 55 days from the time of seeding to mature and produce harvestable beans. Beans can be harvested within two weeks of flowering. Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant can grow 12 - 24 inches in height and 8 - 12 inches wide. Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant seedlings can be transplanted outdoors after the last threat of frost. These bean plants will not like being grown indoors.
With an upright bushy habit, Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant makes a great choice for a container plant. Each plant should be given a pot at least 12 inches in diameter with a drainage hole; place the pot in full sun with at least 6 hours of direct light. Plants will not need to be repotted and can be cleaned up and removed after the first frost. If planting in a mixed planter as the ‘filler’, use a larger container to accommodate the extra plants. Container plants can dry out more quickly than garden plants and should be monitored regularly for water needs. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry.
Watering Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant
Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant will require plenty of water. Water plants every two to three days depending on rain accumulation and temperature. Water when the soil is dry beneath the surface. Water with drip irrigation or soaker hoses to directly reach the root zone in the mornings or evenings.
Feeding Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant
Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant will benefit from fertilizer for an ample harvest. Fertilize at the time of planting with compost or a granular fertilizer designed for vegetable plants. Fertilize Gold N’ Green Mix Beans Plant again when plants begin to bud and flower with a diluted liquid fertilizer for vegetable plants.
