Jade Princess Ornamental Millet delivers a striking combination of chartreuse foliage crowned by rich brown flower spikes that appear from late spring through summer. These pollen-free plumes catch the eye in containers or garden beds, adding height and texture to your outdoor spaces. Each plant reaches around 24 to 30 inches tall, forming a controlled, bushy habit with dense leaves reminiscent of corn. Its bold color shift and feathery bottlebrush spikes make it a unique grass to cultivate.

This annual variety descends from African millet species, celebrated for its heat tolerance and easy upkeep. Deer typically ignore its coarse foliage, while pollinators often find the seedheads appealing.
