If you are looking for a blue hydrangea that doesn’t get too big, Let's Dance® Sky View™ Hydrangea might just be the one. Growing to less than 4 feet tall and wide, this big leaf or macrophylla hydrangea is ideal for a smaller space. Let's Dance® Sky View™ produces large blooms in shades of pink or blue depending on the pH of the soil, but is easy to turn blue with some soil amendments. Blooming on both old and new growth, this hydrangea is known for its reblooming ability.

With its manageable mounding habit, Sky View™ is perfectly suited to a border or container. Part of the Let's Dance® series, this hydrangea is a reliable performer and suitable for growing in zones 4 through 9. Its bountiful blooms are perfect for use in the home, whether as freshly cut or dried flowers. Let's Dance® Sky View™ Hydrangea will make a huge impact whether grown as a specimen or en masse.

Let's Dance® Sky View™ Hydrangea Care

To get the best from this stunning hydrangea, grow it in full sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. An alkaline soil will encourage pink blooms, whereas an acidic soil will produce sky-blue flowers. To increase the acidity of the soil, you can add aluminum sulfate. To help prevent this shrub from drying out, regular and deep watering is required, especially while getting it established.

Any dead or damaged branches can be removed at any time of the year. However, if you would like to shape or reduce this shrub, prune after it flowers in early summer to prevent losing next year’s blooms. For winter protection, any container-grown plants can be brought in under cover to ride out the worst of the cold.

Let's Dance® Sky View™ Hydrangea Spacing

When mature and if given enough space, Let's Dance® Sky View™ Hydrangea can grow to 3-4 feet high by 3-4 feet wide. If planting this shrub in a tight row, space each plant about 3 feet apart.
