This perennial is hardy in zones five through ten. The Monarch Princess Pink Butterfly Bush prefers full sun for the best blooms. It’s generally low maintenance in nature, and grows very quickly. Moist, well drained soil would be the best environment to plant in. If a drought is observed, this bush would need supplemental watering to maintain its vitality.

This bush can be pruned down to between six and 12 inches in the late winter. Spent blooms can also be removed to encourage more extended blooming.
