The Horsetail Reed is adaptable to all levels of light. It will grow in full sun, part shade, and deep shade. Place where desired.
Horsetail Reed Care
It is tolerant to varying soil types and ph Levels. Soil should be well drained. The Horsetail Reed is a fast-growing plant and will fill the area it is in. Keep it confined in a twelve-inch pot and increase by one size when desired. Place a mesh barrier at the bottom of the pot to avoid unwanted spreading. Prune plant by removing outside stems one at a time with sterile shears.

Water needs are high for the Horsetail Reed. Be sure to water regularly so soil remains moderately wet.
