The October Carpet Camellia is one you need for your fall garden! It produces an abundance of pink frilly blooms each fall when planted in masses for a dramatic effect. It brings in pollinators and birds. This flower will remain compact and is easy to care for. It also provides pest and disease resistance.
Dark olive-green foliage is paired with these unique, fun, pink blooms with yellow centers. The October Magic Carpet Camellia has a long fall bloom season with continuous rebloom. This one has a compact habit, with a height of three feet and a spread of five feet. The October Magic Carpet Camellia is great for uses in containers, hedges, mass planting, privacy planting, cut flowers, and looks great as a focal point.
October Magic Carpet Camellia Care
Care for your October Magic Carpet Camellia is easy but should be followed carefully. Plant in full sun to part shade. Plant in soil that is moist but remains well-drained. It will tolerate varying soil types, but prefers rich, organic soil. Water needs for the October Magic Carpet Camellia are average. Mulch plants for winter protection. Apply fertilizer yearly, in the spring. Pruning can be done to shape early in the spring before first flush.
October Magic Carpet Camellia Spacing
