New foliage emerges as a mottled orange, transitions into bronzy gold, and settles into light green with flecks of orange. The stems have a reddish-orange hue for even more color. The Orange Marmalade Philodendron is a hybrid created from a Philodendron Prince of Orange and Painted Lady.

Orange Marmalade Philodendron Sunlight Requirements

Increased sunlight is necessary for the Philodendron Quadcolor to look its best and maintain its lovely colors. The plant needs medium to bright, indirect light. A spot close to an east- or west-facing window or several feet away from a south-facing window will provide plenty of light. Keep this plant out of direct sunlight, which will burn the foliage.

The Orange Marmalade Philodendron is a self-heading plant that climbs in its native habitat. Give this plant a moss pole or trellis so it can climb and display its stunning foliage. Repot every one to two years as the plant outgrows its pot or depletes the soil. Use rich, moist, well-drained, and slightly acidic soil.
