It has an upright habit, growing 8-16 inches high, with a similar shape and form as a lavender plant. The intense, silver color provides interest in your fall garden.
As well as being drought tolerant, Helichrysum thianschanicum does not have disease or insect problems. It is native to western China where it grows on sand dunes and gravelly slopes. Use it as a filler in containers, hanging baskets, and window boxes.
