At Plant Addicts, we’re committed to ensuring you’re happy with your purchase. We understand that returns can happen, and our goal is to provide a clear and fair process for every customer. Whether you’re returning a planter or another product, we aim to support you while maintaining policies that are considerate of both our customers and our business. Plant Returns +

We strive to ensure your plants arrive happy and healthy. However, due to the perishable nature of plants, we are unable to accept returns based on preference. Shipping plants back and forth is not only stressful for the plants but also violates USDA regulations, which prohibit returning plants to a nursery.

If you experience any issues with your plant(s), please notify us within 3 days of delivery. This includes concerns such as dead plants, dried-out roots, or receiving incorrect items. Prompt notification helps us address the issue quickly and efficiently.

  • Damaged Plants: If your plant is damaged beyond recovery during shipping, we’ll provide instructions on how to receive a replacement.
  • Incorrect Items: If you receive the wrong plant, we’ll work with you to send the correct plant as soon as possible or offer a refund.

Planter Return +

Product Issue Returns

If the wrong item was delivered, or if the item is defective or damaged, Plant Addicts will send a replacement at no cost or issue a refund if inventory is no longer available. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt to report any product issues.

In some cases, we may request that the product be returned to us or the manufacturer. If this is required, we will provide instructions, and a replacement item will be shipped to you at no additional cost.

Preference Returns

Preference returns apply to non-defective products where the customer decides to return the item for reasons such as changing their mind or not liking the product. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item(s) back to the manufacturer. Credit will be issued once the manufacturer confirms the item is unused, in re-sellable condition, and received within 180 days of delivery.

  • A 20% restocking fee may apply in some cases.
  • If a shipment is refused due to preference, the customer will be responsible for both the initial shipping costs and the return shipping costs, which will be deducted from any refund.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Lechuza Planters: Due to manufacturer policies, Lechuza planters are not returnable.
  • Custom Order Planters: Custom planters or those with drainage holes drilled cannot be returned.

Cancelations +

We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate cancellation requests. Orders may be cancelled up until the point they are printed by the warehouse. Once the order has been processed for shipping, cancellations are no longer possible, and we cannot accept returned plants due to their perishable nature.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we’ll make every effort to stop the shipment, in some cases, the order may already be on its way and cannot be intercepted.

Depending on the order, a restocking fee may apply to cover credit card processing and labor costs associated with the cancellation.

Important Note: Special order products cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed.
