The Berry Smoothie Coral Bells has it all: bold foliage, delicate flowers, and easy care requirements. The rosy-pink leaves feature hints of green and purple and have an almost metallic sheen. The foliage gradually transitions into a dark, purplish hue throughout the growing season. Broad leaves have scalloped edges and a slight ruffle, adding extra dimension to the already showy foliage. This Heuchera variety has pink bell-shaped flowers that dangle from thin, pink stems high above the foliage. Enjoy the blooms in the spring and summer.

This perennial has a mounded, clump-forming growth habit. The Berry Smoothie Coral Bells can add color to a mixed bed or container, create a charming border, or brighten up a low-light area unsuitable for many other plants. Trim the flower spikes to include the blooms in arrangements. This plant is deer resistant and supports pollinators.

Berry Smoothie Coral Bells Care

The Berry Smoothie Coral Bells can handle full to partial shade, making this beauty an excellent choice for a shady spot. It prefers moist, well-drained, and neutral soil. Water when the top layer of soil is dry and avoid soggy conditions. Feed the plant each spring with a slow-release fertilizer.

The Berry Smoothie Coral Bells is hardy in zones 4 through 9 and is evergreen in warm climates. Remove dead or damaged growth each spring to tidy up the appearance and make room for new foliage. Divide the plant every two to three years.

Berry Smoothie Coral Bells Spacing

The Berry Smoothie Coral Bells maintains a compact size, standing 12 to 18 inches tall and 12 to 24 inches wide. Space plants in a low border or mass planting 12 to 18 inches apart to create a continuous row of foliage.
