How to Use

1. Flip up the U-shaped handle and securely attach it with bolts and nuts.
2. Set the gate control to the closed position before filling the hopper with the desired material.
3. Adjust the gate setting according to the application chart or the instructions on the material's bag.
4. Start walking at a steady pace (approximately 3 mph) and release the control lever to begin spreading.
5. To stop spreading, simply pull the gate control back to the closed position.
6. After use, empty any remaining material and clean the spreader with a garden hose. Allow it to dry before storing.
