Harvest salad greens when they reach 6” tall. They are hardy in Zones 9-12, and considered a seasonal summer annual in colder climates. Endless Summer Salad Greens Mix Care  

Plant this mix when all danger of frost is gone. Endless Summer Salad Greens grow well outdoors in raised beds or in containers. Find a location that has full to partial sun. In cooler spring weather, Endless Summer Salad Greens Mix can be planted in a container that receives full sun, and as the summer temperatures heat up, relocate it to an area in dappled sun. Lettuces will produce more vivid colors when grown in cooler locations. Plant this mix in moist, well-draining soil. Be sure to watch the water levels so the lettuces don't get bitter from infrequent watering. Water deeply at least once a week during the hot summer months and more frequently in periods of drought. Apply a thin layer of organic mulch to help retain moisture in the soil. Space individual plants 8-12” apart. Remove any withered, spent leaves to keep the mix fresh and tidy. 

Growing Endless Summer Salad Greens Mix 

The soil in raised garden beds and containers warms up faster than ground soil, which enables you to get an early jump on the harvest. Harvest every 3 weeks or when salad greens are about 6” tall.

Endless Summer Salad Greens Mix can be planted in medium-size containers that have proper drainage. Easy to care for in patio containers, these greens can be planted in a container near your kitchen, so you can pick the leaves fresh out of the container. The container you select can have a fairly shallow depth because lettuce roots only grow about 4”. For the best quality, tenderness, and flavor, pick the leaves earlier when the mixed greens are young.
