When To Use
Use when planting in spring, fall, or after blooming.
How Much To Use
New Plantings
- Row Planting: Mix 1.5 lb. (4.5 cups) of Bulb-tone per 25 feet of row into the soil.
- Individual Bulbs: Add 1.5 heaping teaspoons into each planting hole and cover with soil.
- Bed Plantings: Incorporate 4 lbs. per 60 sq. ft. into the soil.
Established Bulbs
- Bed Plantings: Apply 4 lbs. per 60 sq. ft. and rinse any excess plant food off the foliage.
- Individual Bulbs: Sprinkle 1.5 heaping teaspoons around each bulb, 2-3 inches away. Feed dahlias and gladioli monthly.
How To Apply
- New Planting: Mix into the soil beneath the bulbs.
- Existing Bulbs: Spread evenly on the soil surface.
Water thoroughly after applying. Avoid applying to frozen soil.
