  • USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9
  • Height 8-10 Inches Tall
  • Spread 12-14 Inches Wide

This perennial produces fragrant 2-inch-wide carnation-like double magenta pink blossoms that form above its low mound of feathery gray-green foliage. It reblooms all summer long. The flowers attract butterflies and deer tend to leave it alone.

This plant will reach 8 to 10 inches high with a 12 to 14-inch spread. It’s heat, drought and salt tolerant. Fruit Punch Cranberry Cocktail Pinks Dianthus is a fantastic choice for border gardens, containers, mass plantings and along pathways, patios and decks. It’s a great choice for long-lasting bouquets. The flowers can also be dried for use in craft projects.

Fruit Punch Cranberry Cocktail Pinks Dianthus Care

Grow Fruit Punch Cranberry Cocktail Pinks Dianthus in full sun to partial shade conditions in loose, well-drained soil in USDA hardiness zones 4 to 9. Shear the top of the plant after the blossom fade to encourage a second flush of flowers in the fall.

Space individual plants 12 to 14 inches apart, center on center. It can also be grown in garden planters over 8 inches wide.
