These blooms are unique, colorful, are produced in droves! The Fruit Punch Spiked Punch Pinks Dianthus produces fragrant blooms continuously. It is tolerant to heat and attracts pollinators. Adding to its features, is its resistance to deer.

The deep pink blooms with red centers and serrated edges, sit on top of stems produced from the green feathery steel blue foliage. Mounded growing habit reaches a height of six to eight inches, with a spread of twelve to fourteen inches. Bloom season is continuous, beginning in the early summer and lasting until early fall. Plant for its cut flowers, as a border plant, in mass plantings, edging, or as a focal point in your landscape. Use as a filler or thriller in container planting.

Plant in full sun to part shade for best results. Soil needs to be loose and remain moist. Ensure the soil is well drained with a pH range of mildly alkaline to neutral. The plant typically needs an average amount of water. Once established, it can tolerate periods of drought sporadically. Fertilize in the spring. Pruning can be beneficial to encourage rebloom. Be sure to remove spent blooms to improve appearance.

We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty whether you’re new or an expert. There are many variables outside our control and yours that can cause the demise of your plant(s). Examples would be hungry animals, drought, poor soil conditions, over watering, disease, insects & many other factors. The Plant Addicts Warranty is a 1 year warranty protecting you from all the unknowns and will replace your plant if it moves on to the plant afterlife.

The warranty is purchased on a per plant basis and must be purchased at the same time as the plant purchase. We will cover 100% of the price of the plant but the warranty does not cover shipping cost. Simply let us know if your plant has died within one year of receiving it and we’ll get you a new one shipped out. We may ask for photos for documentation purposes but again we’ll try to make it as easy as possible.

    I didn't know that dianthus was actually a carnation flower. I bought this plant and grew it this summer. And the flowers were just beautiful. So I did some research and found out that these are actually called carnations, which I've always heard of in flower arrangements. I'm so glad I decided to grow this in my garden!
