You’re going to love this one! The Fruit Punch® Maraschino Pinks Dianthus is a continuous bloomer with winter interest and fragrant flowers and foliage. The cherry red blooms bring a burst of color that looks great in any landscape or garden.

The fragrant, silver-blue foliage brings unique interest to your yard. It is paired with fragrant, double, bright red blooms. The Fruit Punch Maraschino Pinks Dianthus is tolerant to heat and drought. It will bring pollinators to your yard and is resistant to deer. Bloom season begins in early summer and lasts until early fall. The garden height is nine to eleven inches with a spread of twelve to fourteen inches. Uses include, border planting, container planting, use for its cut flowers, edging, mass planting, or as a focal point in any landscape.

Fruit Punch Maraschino Pinks Dianthus Care

Plant in full sun for best results. It is tolerable to short periods of shade or filtered sun. Soil should be loose and remain well drained. Soil pH should be slightly alkaline to neutral. Once established, the Fruit Punch® Maraschino Pinks Dianthus is tolerable to mild periods of drought. Water needs are average. Apply compost or a slow release fertilizer in the spring. Light trimming can be done to encourage rebloom.
