The Lime Twister Sedum is loved for its colorful foliage and mat-forming habit. It develops a mass of small green leaves that are edged in cream, and bright pink flowers bloom from late summer. A low-growing stonecrop, Lime Twister grows to no more than 6 inches tall and has a spreading nature. It is perfect for suppressing weed growth when grown en masse.

The Lime Twister Sedum is wonderfully low-maintenance and suitable for growing in zones 4 through 9. It generally grows without any issues, as not only is it tolerant of rabbits but has great disease resistance as well. It is ideal for rock and gravel gardens as well as container planting. 

Lime Twister Sedum Care

The Lime Twister Sedum grows best in average-to-poor, well-drained soil in full sun, but it can handle some light shade as well. It is drought-tolerant once established but will need some occasional watering after planting and for the first growing season if rainfall is minimal. Overly rich soil may cause weak and leggy growth, and fertilizing is not required. 

When the flowers fade, you can remove them to keep a neat appearance. Any foliage damaged over winter can be removed in early spring. 

Lime Twister Sedum Spacing

Over time, the Lime Twister Sedum can grow to 4 to 6 inches tall and spread to 12 to 24 inches across. For a carpet of foliage, plants can be spaced around 12 to 18 inches apart.
