Petite Knock Out® Miniature Rose Care
The great thing about Petite Knock Out® is that it is as low maintenance as other ground cover roses. Average water is acceptable after this Rose is established. Extra irrigation may be necessary during hot and dry periods. Container planted Roses should be fertilized on a monthly basis to ensure continuous blooming. Roses planted in the garden will need a well balanced, slow release fertilizer early in the spring. Full sun is a must to keep the blooms producing and leaves deep green. Petite Knock Out® has resistance to most pests and diseases.
Mulching with an organic compost or leaves will help insulate this shrub from the coldest of winter and also help to enrich the soil to make it more moisture retentive. Pruning is not generally needed. Deadheading to keep the bush tidy and encourage more blooms.
Petite Knock Out® Miniature Rose Spacing
This miniature Rose is very compact and only has a height and width of 15-18 inches. This makes it perfect for mass planting at the front of the garden or to tuck into containers. Spacing the plants at 12 inches center on center is recommended. Pot size for a single plant should be at least 12 inches in diameter.
