This butterfly bush has its signature green foliage. The Pugster Amethyst Butterfly Bush produces a unique colored flower that is purple with amethyst tones. Bloom season is generous in length and blooms lasting from early summer to frost. The blooms are fragrant and continuous, attracting pollinators. This shrub has a height and spread of twenty-four inches. Use this butterfly bush as a filler for containers. Plant as a groundcover or border plant. It does well with mass planting and being used for ground cover. It makes a stunning focal point and is the perfect addition to any landscape or garden.

To care for your Pugster Amethyst Butterfly Bush start by planting in full sun. Water needs for this butterfly bush are average but be sure not to overwater. It absolutely requires well drained soil. This butterfly bush is adaptable to all soil types and PH levels. Deadheading is not necessary, but pruning is recommended and should be done in the early spring. Slow release fertilizer should be applied in the spring.
