Large orange flowers with bright yellow eyes help the Rise Up Emberays™ Rose stand out. This stunner features bold flowers that retain their color and continue to bloom throughout the summer. This rose can grow on its own or be trained to climb a trellis or support, allowing the stunning flowers to be on full display. The reaching stems feature leathery, dark green foliage with slightly serrated edges.
The Rise Up Emberays™ Rose is a disease-resistant climbing rose with a compact growth habit. This rose bush does not need support, but plant it along a fence or a structure, and the stems will latch on. Trim the flowers to display in arrangements. The Rise Up Emberays™ Rose is easy to maintain and grows as a perennial in zones 4 through 9.
Rise Up Emberays™ Rose Care
Plant the Rise Up Emberays™ Rose in full sun. This plant prefers rich soil that is moist but well drained. New plants need water consistently for the first growing season, while established plants only need a drink during a dry spell. Feed the Rise Up Emberays™ Rose using a product formulated for roses or a fertilizer with a 4-6-4 ratio. Fertilize in the spring and reapply monthly during the growing season.
Remove dead or damaged growth as needed and trim canes that cross. Shape the plant in the spring, trimming above buds to encourage branching.
Rise Up Emberays™ Rose Spacing
Mature plants reach 3 to 5 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide. Space the Rise Up Emberays™ Rose 4 feet apart to allow air to flow around the branches and foliage.
