If you’ve shied away from adding honeysuckle to your landscape in the past because you were afraid that it would be invasive nature would take over your yard, Scentsation Honeysuckle is the one for you. This non-invasive honeysuckle is covered with strongly scented creamy-white and yellow flowers from mid-spring to late summer. The flowers produce attractive bright red berries in the fall.

Scentsation' Lonicera periclymenum blooms on new wood. This climbing plant performs best when planted near a sturdy trellis, pergola, tree, wall or fence that it can happily climb. If unsupported, it makes an excellent ground cover. Plant it near your house or an area where you spend time outdoors to take advantage of its lovely fragrance.

Scentsation Honeysuckle Care

It’s low maintenance, deer resistant and usually pest and disease-free. Pruning is not required but may be done after the flowering period ends. The tube-shaped 2-inch flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. Scentsation Honeysuckle can be grown in a full sun location in USDA plant hardiness zones 4 to 9. It can tolerate light shade in warmer climates. Its mature size is 5 to 6 feet high and 8 to 10 feet wide. It prefers moist, but well-drained soils.

Scentsation Honeysuckle Spacing

This deciduous climbing vine won the Climbing Plant of the Year 2016 at Le Rendez-vous Horticole in Montreal. Space multiple clematis plants at least 5 to 6 feet apart.

The very tiny, almost dead plants arrived at my house. I spent $116 and have had no response from you about this situation. I am just in shock and cannot believe how amazing the information was versus what I actually received. I’m so disappointed. And out $116...

Posted by Jeanette Bachand on Jun 19, 2020

Completely dissatisfied with the size and quality of the plant. Not worth $30! I bought two plants and will try my best to get the in shape a hope they grow fast so we can enjoy the blooms. I wish that I could insert a photo so you could see for yourself... don’t buy honeysuckle from here!

    Honeysuckle...

Posted by Customer on Jun 14, 2020

I am leaving a honest review. I had bought three plants from you. A Yuki snowflake bush, a bluegrass and the honeysuckle plant. There were no problems with the bluegrass at all. The Yuki snowflake bush was a little rough around the edges but it's coming along nicely with tender loving care. However I cannot say the same about the honeysuckle. For one it is a very small plant extremely small. It was very stressed when we received it there were quite a few Dead leaves as well as broken little branches and more than half of the leaves that were left were very wilted. I am surprised because we only buy your products at Lowe's home improvement centers. My husband owned his own landscaping company quite a few years ago. And he only used your products. We had nothing but high hopes. I have always loved honeysuckle and this is the first one I have ever boughten. My husband has been extremely tentative to it giving it everything he can to try to help it back to life. However we do not think it is going to make it. I even talk to it every day. LOL, but they say talking to plants helps them and I extremely want this plant to live. I lost my dad 4 years ago. And he had the most amazing honeysuckle bush. Unfortunately when he passed away the honeysuckle died as well. I was going to try to retransplant his but for some reason it just died. Anyway this honeysuckle bush means a lot to me it's not just a plant. I know you probably won't understand. I am just very upset as no matter what we've done my husband says he don't think it's going to live. I have not contacted to because when I ordered I read about your return policy and you really don't have one. So we have been trying to do everything we can. But since you asked for this review I am letting you know what happened. Thank you very much. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Sincerely, Candy and Tony Alfonso
