Like all Rose of Sharon’s, White Pillar Rose of Sharon is easy to care for. It is a sun loving plant and should be planted in full sun ensuring it receives, at minimum 6 hours of sun per day. This plant has average water needs and does best with well drained soil. Is adaptable to most soils and those with varying PH. Providing a layer of 2”-3” inches of bark mulch is desirable for protecting the roots. Fertilize with granular fertilizer for woody plants in the spring after the ground thaws out.
