Bee balm will tolerate part sun but does best in full sun for the most blooms and scent. And an added bonus is deer avoid her as a rule! She is hardy from Zone 4a-8b.

‘Leading Lady Lilac Bee Balm’ will do well in average soil with regular watering. It is a clump forming plant, short in stature for bee balm, only 10-14 inches tall but can be used in borders planted 22-28 inches apart. She can also be used in containers where light is limited, or as a cut flower adding fragrance to a bouquet!
