Purple Calla Lily Grow Kit

Purple Calla Lily Grow Kit Care

The Purple Calla Lily Grow Kit flowers best when it is grown in full sun to partial shade. It comes with a soil pellet but can also be planted out in fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. Irrigate regularly during the growing season to keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged. Once the flowering shoots begin to develop, you can apply a potassium-rich liquid fertilizer to support the blooms. 

When the flowers fade, you can remove the entire bloom stem to tidy the appearance. Mulching the roots will provide some protection when grown as a perennial outdoors. Outside of zones 8 to 10, the rhizomes can be dug up in the fall to overwinter before planting out the following year.
