The foliage of the Double Play Candy Corn Spirea is stunning. It has red new foliage in the spring, then matures to yellow, and new foliage is orange. The blooms that being to appear in late spring are purple and pair well with its foliage. The height of the Double Play Candy Corn Spirea is eighteen to twenty-four inches and has a spread of eighteen to thirty inches. Plant as a border plant, use for edging, mass planting, or in your landscape as a focal point.

Maintenance is low, but to ensure beautiful color and longevity of the plant, be sure to plant in full to part sun, ensuring it receives 4 to 6 hours of sun per day. This plant has average water needs and prefers well drained soil. The Double Play Candy Corn Spirea has a natural rounded habit and does not require pruning. Trimming can take place after flowering and will encourage new growth. Once established, the Double Play Candy Corn Spirea is drought tolerant.
