Best Locations For Growing Marble Queen Pothos

Any location with adequate light, average temperatures, and high humidity will be a good place to maintain Marble Queen Pothos. In particular, this variegated perennial thrives when exposed to bright to medium indirect light and temperatures between 65°F to 85°F. Humidity levels should be around 40% to 50%. A bathroom or kitchen may be the perfect place to keep this lovely house plant. Toxic to people and pets, though, this herbaceous vine should be kept away from little fingers and paws.

Marble Queen Pothos Sunlight Requirements

Marble Queen Pothos prefers bright to medium indirect light. Your best choices for light exposure are south-facing, east-facing, and west-facing windows; however, to prevent sunburn, maintain this evergreen no closer than 3 – 5 feet from a south-facing window and no farther away than 5 feet from a west-facing or east-facing window. 

Marble Queen Pothos Care

Marble Queen Pothos will do well in soil that is loamy, well draining, and slightly acidic to neutral, with a target pH range of 6.1 to 7.3. A typical houseplant potting soil with some peat moss and perlite/coconut coir/pumice added to it will encourage growth while simultaneously preventing diseases such as root rot.

Pruning this fast-growing vine will facilitate growth and aid in maintaining your preferred shape. As always, you should trim dead leaves as they present themselves throughout the year, but if a fuller plant is your goal, then prune the stems for form during the onset of spring.

Marble Queen Pothos, a mesic evergreen, typically requires watering one time per week. In order to prevent fungal diseases, such as root rot, moisture checks are recommended. Insert your fingers 2 to 3 inches beneath the surface of the soil. If the soil is dry, then water. If not, refrain from watering for 1 – 3 days, then conduct another moisture check.
